Charles Hahn of Litigation and an Alumni of Eastern Michigan University, participated as a judge in the Great Lakes Mock Trial Invitational. EMU hosted 24 teams from thirteen universities from various Midwestern States, with Notre Dame and University of Michigan among the teams.

John Kapitan and Elizabeth Kanous, bankruptcy, will both be speaking at the 10th annual Detroit Consumer Bankruptcy Conference, to be held Troy on November 11. Kanous will be part of the session “Court-Facilitated Loan Modifications: Here, There and Everywhere,” and Kapitan will be speaking on “Consumer Bankruptcy Mortgage Issues.” More info on the conference can be found here.
