Charles Hahn as a Great Lakes Mock Trial Invitational judge

Charles Hahn of Litigation and an Alumni of Eastern Michigan University, participated as a judge in the Great Lakes Mock Trial Invitational.  EMU hosted 24 teams from thirteen universities from various Midwestern States, with Notre Dame and University of Michigan among the teams.

 

Kapitan and Kanous speaking at 10th annual Detroit Consumer Bankruptcy Conference

​John Kapitan and Elizabeth Kanous, bankruptcy, will both be speaking at the 10th annual Detroit Consumer Bankruptcy Conference, to be held Troy on November 11. Kanous will be part of the session “Court-Facilitated Loan Modifications: Here, There and Everywhere,” and Kapitan will be speaking on “Consumer Bankruptcy Mortgage Issues.” More info on the conference can be found here.

June 4, 2014–Trott & Trott, P.C. (Trott), a Farmington Hills, Mich.-based real estate finance law firm, announced that Partner John Kapitan has been selected to sit on a panel discussion regarding lien-stripping in consumer bankruptcy at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) 21st Annual Central States Bankruptcy Workshop on June 12-15 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
